Adire Audio SHIVA MKII subwoofer drivers have been chosen for this dipole subwoofer after experimenting with several other long throw
subwoofer drivers, as it exhibited the best performance in its price range.
Other full range drivers may be used upon wish.
To compensate for the dipole’s progressive phase cancellation toward lower frequencies, dipole equalization is required.
That is best accomplished electronically in the pre-amplifier, or in the active crossover if active filtering is used.
